rex and his 1st prize

He was peeing when dad picked up his lucky draw prize. So when he saw this new addition in the house, he was really suspicious..

he circled the bin as dad took out the goodies from the container...

We told him what is inside the container and asked him to pose beside the prizes before we give him his new toy...well..he did. ^_^

For doing so, we let him play with the toy that he picked.

er...I really wouldn't want anyone to see what happened to his new toy after like an hr or less....sigh...

yes to the vet!

Many dogs would dislike going to the vet..
But for one kuku dog, it's different...he's super excited to go to the vet...-_-

And yes, he seems to know that he is at one...
yes...he can't get impatient just waiting for the car to be parked...
The happy rex, before I get down to open the door for him...

Do u know?-Crocodile

Rex's day

well...he's always taking naps..at any time of the day...

Suntanning @ the balcony in the afternoon..

If he goes to the playground, he will come back dead tired. One of this favourite sleeping spots(which he has many) is beside the fridge. He knows where his snacks are kept...-_-
Play ball before bedtime...

Bed time!
He will curl up when he's cold(one of the reasons)...
er...and cross his legs when he's sound asleep... ^_^

After which? *Sweet dream* + looking forward to breakfast the following day.. =]

Is this available in Singapore?

Is this available in Singapore? Any idea?

Someone is really sweet to help me stock up for now but what happened when I run out of stock?! Pretty interesting conbination of jeely, biscuits and chocolate...and depending on the kind of packaging you got, one of which, you could really taste the strong black forest flavour!

Is it true?

Guess what? This small bowl of preserved vegetable actually cost $3! When mum argued that it's not even fresh vegetables, the owner argued, "Auntie, everything is expensive now. Our min charge for every dish here is $3 if you wanna takeaway"

What the $%^&*()_ right?! A pack of si chuan zai from the market cost only $1...

The current situation sure create much opportunities for some ya..

Temptation

What is Rex's greatest temptation?

wantan mee

One of my favourite picks from Old Airport road.

Is it really good?

hmmm...let's just say, what could make people queue up when the the portion is small and you have a owner that never/seldom smile(at least I have never see her smile...). In addition, they can offer to be off on weekends!

BTW, there another store just beside this one and I thought the owners are pretty friendly but well....it appears that biz is good only when the "attitude store" is not open for the day.....Must be very stressful for their neighbour... =p

Disappointment

She didn't have to explained what happened to me but she did…all the way till 11pm…I was tired but I knew that she needed to talk...

It was the first time I meet/talk to her but she shared with me so much…

I could sense that she's a person of principles..very firm and objective lady....it explains why/how she's where she is today...

I could feel her disappointment(s)…it's really a waste…

Stupid Bird!

Imagine this…you are dead tired…u took a peep at the clock…30mins more before the alarm goes off...u thought,"good, half an hr more..". Then comes the screaming of some bird. FYI, it's not chirping. It's really loud….the sound given out by the bird can spread across a few blocks….it's loud to wake a heavy sleeper up. It's loud for us to lodge a complaint.

Overreaction? What happened if u get it everyday? What makes it worse? This stupid bird started all it's nonsense at 5am or earlier! argh!!!!

Company vs Lesiure

$10/pax for 3 hrs

S35/pax for 3hrs

That's the rate for 2 KTV spot. Imagine having to share the time slot with 10 persons. You might end up paying $35 just to sing that 1 song(or maybe no song at all)…but some might argue that it's the company that counts. well..I want both. =P

Favourite Bridge

This got to be one of my favourite bridges here in Singapore.

I like how everything(buildings, golf course, water, etc) are being built and placed. The inclusion of the Singapore Flyer is defintely a bonus to further enhance the landscape. Can't help but stare at this gentle gentle whenever we pass by...think that's the only time I will stop talking inside the car...keke...

Oh ya! Congratulations to the official opening of our Singapore Flyer!

frustrated no more

It was a disappointment/frustration that gave me the opportunity to do THAT for them(finally!) and I am really glad that they love it! ^_^

So, once again, my favourite tagline-

"In every situation/issue, you will get to see both the pros and cons. Everything happens for a reason…"

Raining days? Fear not!

It has been raining for a few days, your clothes(especially bedsheets) washed are taking ages to dry...in fact, some of which are beginning to stink and you are running out of space to hang your clothes? Or you simply do not wish to overload your precious washing machine...give these services a try..
Six dollars for washing(approximately 30mins)

Followed by drying(duration varies with preference)

kuku Rex

First, he was playing with his ball in the water. Then we saw him figeting with something underneath the water....

He didn't wanna put his head underneath the water. So for the next few minutes, we saw a kuku dog reversing from one side of the pond to the other end, trying to drag something along with him...

It was a comical sight.

So when he finally reach the end of the pond, where he could finally see the object clearly and where the pond wasn't that deep, he happily picked up his "new toy" and dashed off with it..

But well...he repeated the same step over and over again when he run over to the deeper side of the pond and dropped the toy.... -_-

lucky rex

These were what we had over dinner the other day...

Nothing for Rex? What do u think? I think his father secretly bought more beef than required for the sauce...

This was what boy boy got for breakfast the following day. Heated up for him some more! He liked it so much, he was literally licking the bowl!

Well... that lucky boy was fed fruits (prepared for the fondue) in abundance by the kids who were eager to play with him...keke...luckily no LS...

BTW, he was fed with the most dental stick within a day! Should have shown our gratitute by letting our generous guest smell boy boy's breath. sigh..bad host! How can I forget to do so?!!! kekeke...

Our first “agri-tainment” resort

Singapore's first “agri-tainment” resort:
-opens in August 2008
-size equivalent to six football fields
-will have 21 villas @ $200/night

"Developers of the farm resort hope to offer visitors a more unconventional experience when it opens its doors this August. Visitors will be able to find out how crops such as corn and coffee are grown and may even get to harvest their own vegetables"
(Extracted from the article)

They had it on TV yesterday. The concept is very similar to the Ijen resort that we stayed in at Indonesia. Vegetation surrounding the resort, outdoor shower (within the room) ...hmmm....given so, have they considered the control over insects and animal from the wild?

What do I mean by that? It means cats climbing onto the rooftops or scatching at your door at the middle of the night? It means insects like moths, lizards, flies, etc in your room?

Well...

BIG is beautiful!!!!

I love this theme that they have @ the museum....

Tomb sweeping

"'What's the latest fashion?"

This was the qns asked by customers when they step into the shop(feedback by a shop owner) during the tomb sweeping period.

TRENDY OFFERINGS
Selling like hot cakes are replicas of massage chairs, XO liquor, shark's fin, bird's nest and even the Buddha Jumps Over The Wall dish

http://www.piekia.sg/

It was the name that captured my attention then...

Then it was the queue..

It's interesting how everyone is willing to squeeze inside a small shop and come out with their clothes smelling of pie but well...they were willing(@ least from the look on their faces and the long queue)

So yesterday, I decided to join in the "fun"..keke..

These are what I got!
