We caught Marley & Me in the cinema over the weekend. We didn't expect the show to be so popular. The biggest theatre at Cathay was full-all the way to the 1st row!!
Given that we have a monster back home that looks and behaves just like Marley, we can really empathise with the show. I cried big time!
After the movie, when we walk Rex, we started having ppl(including Malays) calling Rex Marley....haha!

social security? Association?
Where do u dispense off all those “extras” in you? What am I referring to? Well, it can be anything…
For instance, your time, love & energy.
I saw ppl who have so much affection, time, etc, that they typical have to look ppl up to shower others with all that. It’s a win win situation cos the demand and supply framework is out there.
Are we lonely? Is that the reason for facebook, SDU, etc?
I recalled a fren talking to me abt another fren of hers. She sounded like she has known the person for the longest time and how well this fren was doing(socially, financially, etc) but when I probe further…that person is just someone she came across on one of her holiday..a 15mins conversation 10 yrs ago. Best part: She talks about this person every week but she doesn’t have any contact information abt this person..qns that came to my mind then was “is this person real?”
As I look around the ppl around me, I saw this need, this need to be associated with certain group, to ppl of certain status, occupation, etc.. Is that need to be deem as popular or well liked that important?
Well, are u one of them?

No comment is the best comment
U knew abt that already?
Well..I am a late learner...keke...
Something that comes together with that realisation is the fact that regardless of how close/how long u know the person, how much the person's tolerance level(perceived) for joke is, keep your honesty to the minimal, even if the person assume u that he/she can take it. The truth is, usually when someone claims that he/she can take the truth, the person can't. It's just a made believe impression. Afterall, everyone has to create an image for him/herself right? *winks*

Lavish or Comfort?
To what extend will you doll up your place? What is your focus? Mine is practicality and comfort.
It’s interesting how ppl are willing to spend excessively on designer items that doesn’t provide much comfort, requires high maintenance and in some ways might be detrimental. Sounds serious?
Well, image these:
-sitting around only 1-2m in front of a 42” or 47” TV every day.
-dents and scratches on your wooden floor even before u have shifted in.
-kitchen whereby cooking is almost impossible.
-colour theme that requires cleaning up everyday
-designer furniture that you are worried that you or your guest might dirty

limelight or blinding light?!!
Do u like or wanna be in the limelight? Know of anyone who will seize every/any opportunities possible to be the centre of attraction?
I know of someone who is trying and grabbing at any opportunity to be in the limelight. It’s so obvious that after a while, every attempt becomes a joke to me/us. I just look right thru the person as if he/she is transparent.
In fact, at times, the image of a clown actually appears in my head when he/her name is mentioned..bad huh? But it's the truth!!!
